“News you need to know”

ENA’s Mini-Olympics is a time where students in both our Preschool and General Programs get to show their families and friends what they have learned during class.  This year the Mini-Olympics will be held June 1 - June 7.  During this time, the students march into the gym with their class, and you may follow them around to each area of the gym as they demonstrate the skills they have learned.  Friends and other family members are also welcome to attend.  You may also video and photograph your child.  At the end of your child’s Mini-Olympics, they will receive a medal commemorating their achievement.  

Preschool Program Students (Classes held before 3 pm Monday—Thursday and Classes at 9 am & 10 am on Saturday)

Students in our Preschool Programs will have their Mini-Olympics on their regular class day and time during the week of June 1 - June 7.  If your child cannot attend on their day, you may schedule them in another class during that week.  Please stop by the Front Desk if you need to reschedule your child’s Preschool Mini-O.

General Class Students (Gymnastics Classes held after 3 pm and Saturday at 11 am and 12:15 pm (including Advanced Level and Preteam)

Students in our General Gymnastics Programs will have their Mini-Olympics June 1 - Juune 7.  The exact date and time for students in our General Programs, Advanced Level Classes and Preteam is listed on the back of this sheet. If your child is unable to attend their scheduled Mini-Olympics, you can reschedule him/her to another class during June 1 - June 7.  Please stop by the Front Desk if you need to reschedule your child’s General class Mini-Olympics.

Mini-Olympics Leotard and T-Shirts 

If you pre-ordered the Mini-Olympics leotard,  a notice will be posted on the Front Door when it is in (Mini-O leotards are due within the next couple of weeks). We did order a few extras.  These extras will be available for sale just prior to the Mini-Olympics.  T-Shirts for the boys are will be available just prior to the Mini 0.

PLEASE DO NOT LET YOUR CHILDWEAR THEIR MINI-OLYMPICS LEOTARD AND/OR MINI-OLYMPICS T-SHIRT UNTIL THE DAY OF  THEIR MINI-OLYMPICS

You-Are-My-Star Goodie Bags

Our JOGA team is selling “You-are-My-Star” goodie bags.  These bags include snacks, a gold star balloon and a personal note from you.  A sample is at the Front Desk.  Bags can be pre-ordered at the Front Desk and picked up the day of your child’s Mini-O.

Last Class of Session & “Bring-A-Friend” week

The Mini-Olympics will NOT your child’s last class of the session.  Class continue  until Saturday, June 27.  The last week of classes (June 22-27) is “Bring-A-Friend” week.  All students may bring a friend (who is not a current ENA student) to their class with them to join in the end-of-the-session festivities.  If your child would like to bring a friend during this week, please stop by the Front Desk to pick up a “Bring-A-Friend” Registration Form.   All “friends” must be signed up in advance and have a form completed AND SIGNED by a parent of the friend.  Please note:  the friend cannot be signed up until the completed form signed by the parent of the friend is received.  Completed forms must be received AT LEAST 24 hours prior to your child’s class.  In addition, the friend must be approximately the same age as your child.  If you child is in a General Program class, the “friend” must also be the same sex.
